The rainy season is finally upon us here in Ubud. . . though we haven't gotten nearly
the amount of rain that is typical (and needed) for December.
The heat and humidity have been suffocating - the companion conditions of rainy season,
but without the relief of regular showers.
Everyone on the island lies in wait for the end of January when this,
the hottest part of the year is finished.
